Description
The 74174 is a 74-series digital logic integrated circuit containing six edge-triggered D-type flip-flops with a common clock input. Each flip-flop captures the logic level present at its D input on the active clock edge and holds that value at its Q output until the next active clock edge. This makes the IC useful for storing and synchronizing multiple digital signals.
The IC also includes a common asynchronous active-low clear input that resets all six flip-flops.
